Kale Chips Recipe

Kale Chips are my favourite guilt free snack. It's healthy, nutritious and super delicious.

This is how I make my kale chips:

Ingredients:

– 1 bunch of kale
– Olive oil
– Sesame Seeds
– Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Preheat oven 400 F (Broil)
2. Wash kale, remove the inner stem and tear it into chip-size pieces.
3. Dry the kale thoroughly with a paper towel or a salad spinner.
4. In a large bowl, toss kale with olive oil, salt, pepper and sesame seeds.
5. Arrange kale in a single layer on a baking sheet and broil for 5-10 minutes or until the kale is crisp and slightly browned.

ENJOY! 🙂

must try,but olive oil should never be heated up very much -it produce some
toxic -must use cocos oil or raps oil, maybe sesam oil?

I believe it tastes great. However, nothing cooked in hot oil can be called
    healthy.

The most important thing to do before making kale chips is to dry them so
NO WATER remains. If you don’t do this, the chips will be brown and burnt
(like in this video), and have that burnt taste. After I wash the leaves, i
shake off the excess water into paper towels and also lightly squeeze paper
towels around them. Then I lay the leaves flat and put a fan on them. It
works good! I also only use Tuscan kale.. it is by far the best tasting (I
think!) kale to use for chips. I like to brush lemon olive oil on the
leaves (it is easy to do with Tuscan kale leaves… they are long, like
romaine lettuce) and then a light sprinkle of seasoned salt. I’m going to
try the sesame seeds next time, in addition to plain olive oil and seasoned
    salt …. that sounds good.

instead of baking in a oven, you can keep in microwave for 3 min which
    yields the same result
